Cricket is a massive market for spread betting customers. With the Ashes around the corner our client Cantor Spreadfair asked us to create a flash Cricket viral game with a difference. There are plenty of 1st person wack the ball style games out there and since their target market is a little more intellegent than most, they wanted something with a little more strategy. We decided to through in a bit of added nostalgia and built a tabletop cricket game. Tabletop cricket is the game that took ages to set up and then as soon as you were ready to play - your mum asked you to stop and clear the table for dinner. Our version fits neatly onto your screen and allows you to bat and field right up until the end (unless your boss asks you to stop)
The original version that ran during the Ashes allowed you to chose whether you were representing England or the Aussies and collated users scores accordingly. Unlike the real Ashes - the Aussies won the online version.
